The CNA course is approved by the Georgia Medical Care Foundation(GMCF) and participants are eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination. The curriculum emphasizes holistic and patient-focused care consistent with the guidelines established by OBRA.
The course consists of lecture/lab instruction and 24-hour supervised clinical rotation. The Day class will meet Monday – Thursday for 4.5 weeks. The evening class will meet Monday-Wednesday for 5 weeks*. A photo ID, social security card, tuberculosis skin test, and a criminal background screen (no felony convictions) are required. The tuition fee of $825 already includes textbook, uniform, and id badge .
