Program Description
Our Nursing Assistant Program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and real-world experience needed to start a career in healthcare. This program is an excellent fit for high school students, career changers, and those looking to meet prerequisite requirements for nursing program admission.
The curriculum includes a flexible blend of online lectures, in-person skills labs, and clinical training at a local healthcare facility—providing both convenience and comprehensive, hands-on learning.
Students will gain practical experience in:
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Learn how to assist patients with daily personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Basic Nursing Skills: Understand core responsibilities including infection control, patient safety, and effective communication
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Master the techniques for accurately measuring and recording blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration

Entrance Requirements
To enroll in our Nursing Assistant Program, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Complete an online application or visit us in person on Fridays from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- Submit negative TB skin test results or a Quantiferon blood test
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Hold a valid CPR (Basic Life Support) certification
- Complete a criminal background screening
- Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
Seats fill quickly and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Program Cost: $1550Cost includes access to the online learning platform, a uniform set, workbook, Basic Life Support (CPR) certification, lab fees, state certification exam, and a certification exam workshop.
