We provide structured training that prepares students for direct care and clinical instruction.

Program Description

Our Georgia Department of Community Health–approved Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to begin a career in healthcare. This program is ideal for high school graduates, career changers, and future nursing students.

Day Program: 4.5 weeks | Evening Program: 7 weeks

Blended Program Format

  • Weeks 1–2: Online classroom training
  • Week 3: In-person Skills Lab (Day or Evening program hours)
  • Week 4: Clinical training with real patients (Day or Evening clinical hours)

Classes are taught in English. A Spanish textbook is available, and students may take the written CNA certification exam in Spanish.

Class Schedule (Weeks 3–4)

  • Day Program: Skills Lab Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Clinical 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Program: Skills Lab Mon–Thu, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Clinical 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Skills & Hands-On Training

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
  • Basic Nursing Skills: Infection control, patient safety, and communication
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measuring and recording blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration

Student Support & On-Site Services

  • CPR (BLS) Certification at our facility
  • Criminal Background Screening on-site
  • Drug Screening (if required) at our facility
  • Assistance with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry application

We also work with local employers and refer graduates to open CNA positions, though placement is not guaranteed.

Payment Plans & Tuition

Program Cost: $1,600 Tuition + $25 Application Fee

Tuition must be paid in full before the first day of class. Students may enroll up to 5 weeks in advance and make weekly payments leading up to the start date. Payments must remain current to keep your seat in the program.

Entrance Requirements

  • Complete an online application
  • Submit negative TB skin test results or Quantiferon blood test
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Complete the 40-hour ReadyCNA Online Classroom training
  • Complete criminal background screening
  • Submit required documents (ID, physical, immunizations, etc.)
  • Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Seats are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

After Graduation

Graduates are eligible to take the Georgia CNA State Exam. Most students are listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry within days to a couple of weeks. Our staff provides step-by-step assistance with the registry application to help ensure a smooth transition to certification.
