We’re excited to launch our Medication Aide Program this fall at our academy! Designed specifically for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Georgia, this program offers the opportunity to expand your scope of practice and advance your healthcare career.
Delivered in a blended format, the program combines the convenience of online coursework with in-person skills labs and clinical training, providing a flexible and comprehensive learning experience.
Program Features:
- Learn to safely administer routine medications in licensed healthcare settings
- Understand proper medication storage, documentation, and reporting procedures
- Study medication classifications, effects, side effects, and interactions
- Train under the guidance of experienced licensed nurses and instructors
- Prepare for the Georgia State Medication Aide Certification Exam
The program will use the Hartman Medication Aide textbook, which is included in the cost of the program, along with the fee for the state certification exam—offering you a complete and affordable pathway to certification
Eligibility: Participants must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia.
